Production is the one live environment. All code samples in these docs point at it.
Base URLs

Keep the base URL in configuration: Store the base URL in configuration, not code, so a future host change is a one-line config change in your integration.
OpenAPI document
Each deployment serves its own OpenAPI 3 document, whose servers entry names that deployment's base URL. It's public — no token needed.

There is currently no separate sandbox: requests operate on your organization's real data and count toward real plan quotas. For integration development, create one dedicated test event and do all write-testing inside it.
